DESCRIPTION: Polenta is corn meal. Believe it or not, it's a great alternative to french fries and it's really terrific dipped in ketchup. Kids love it. We bet your kids will too.

INGREDIENTS: Water, corn flour, salt.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Thaw completely. Heat a 1/4-inch of oil in a large pan over med-high heat. Turn polenta onto a cutting board. Slice length-wise in half, and then cut into steak-fries size. Gently place polenta fries in oil and fry until golden brown all around. Remove fries and place on paper towels. Serve with ketchup. |
